FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State Athletics Department is encouraging
the community to participate in the national "Take a Kid to the
Game" and "Kids Safe Day" at Bulldog Diamond on Sun.,
March 23, when the Bulldogs host San Diego State at 1:00 p.m. All
children 18 and under will receive a free general admission ticket
with the
purchase of a full priced general adult admission ticket ($5, bleachers).
In addition, part of the festivities include recognizing Kids Safe
Day. Parents will be given child identification kits and area law
enforcement agencies will be on hand to discuss fire prevention and
deliver antidrug
messages. All Kids Safe Day activities begin at 11:00 a.m.
Families are encouraged to make it a day at Bulldog Diamond by bringing
a picnic lunch and tailgate between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Parking
will be available in Lot Q and the picnic area will be reserved outside
of the track area, behind Bulldog Diamond press box.
